serious design flaws, game because less about traps and more about placing bombs thanks to auto-breaking traps and rarely enough money to set enough of them up. very frustrating when you place a bomb too close to a trap and it just breaks giving you nothing. it had promise but seriously fell flat.
Absolutely positive I got 9 of those little orbs, yet got nothing special at the ending. Waste of time.
Meh. Out of all the miner games I've played, this one brings nothing new to the genre, and even takes a few steps backwards. Only a little fun.
Brotip: don't make a game where the controls force the player to have no hands on the mouse, then require the player to stop and click on the Continue button after every short level.
It's annoying and thoroughly ruins games like this.
Too many of the puzzles were completely impossible to intuit on your own, like the Snake high scores one. The game's fun and funny with a walkthrough, but without it, it's worthless.
Far, far too often you'd be jumping or running to a part of the level you'd never been before, and get killed by an enemy you couldn't see in time. Very frustrating, and the end boss was disappointingly easy.
Nice as a quick little timewaster, for both player and developer, but not much else.
Cool, but I think the title, being so similar to that anime series, is a bit misleading. "dotHack," really?
Got real boring, real fast. You don't control the combat, you just press X over and over and the game plays for you. The only time you do control your guy is when you have to annoying run from one end of the city to the other at the end of each and every mission.
Lots of bugs
Quality keeps changing, cannon disappears, many power ups are vague, etc, etc. Could've been a mildly amusing remake of defend your castle-style games, but fell flat.
But I really wish I could activate "Retry" on the keyboard.
